Mike Helwege has over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate brokerage and advisory services in the Pikes Peak region. His primary focus is cultivating relationships with users, property owners, investors, and developers; concentrating primarily on industrial, flex, and suburban office properties. Mike's overarching goal is to provide each of his clients with performance and attention that consistently exceeds expectations. Mike launched CORE Commercial Brokerage Company in 2016 after spending over 3 years as an equity partner in the local Cushman & Wakefiled Alliance office. Prior to that, he spent over 9 years in a boutique firm being groomed by a top producer, working his way up to a partnership position, and ultimately purchasing full ownership of the company. Prior to beginning his career in brokerage, he was a tennis pro at The Broadmoor for 6 years, contributing to its distinction of having the top staff in the country three consecutive times (as rated by Tennis Magazine). Mike is a past Chairman of the local Realtors Commercial Industrial Society (RCIS) Board of Directors, and achieved the CCIM Designation in 2009. In 2016, he was awarded the distinguished SIOR designation; and is excited to be a part of that premier group of consistent top producers across the country and internationally. He has achieved Costar Power Broker status in in 7 of the last 8 years, most recently recognized as a Top Leasing Broker in 2018. His strategy of taking on limited assignments in order to provide ample focus has proven to be highly successful and it allows him the flexibility to pursue new opportunities as they are uncovered.
