Mr. Michael Gentile has over thirty-five years of commercial real estate development, acquisition, and banking experience. His areas of expertise include strong managerial experience with developing and implementing highly effective organizational structures designed to meet specific economic goals. Mr. Gentile has been directly involved in the organization, development and management, and/or financing of over $600 million of commercial real estate projects.
Mr. Gentile has an extensive financial background, having served as the Founder/Principal/President of Polestar Capital Corporation, a mortgage banking and financial service company. He has served as Principal/Senior Vice President of Alliance Mortgage Company, a correspondent lender for the State of Florida. Mr. Gentile was Senior Vice President of Florida Federal Savings Bank, Fortune Savings Bank, and President of Fortune Equity Corporation, a Fortune Savings Bank subsidiary, engaged in the development and management of commercial income producing real estate assets.
Mr. Gentile joined The Wyndham Organization, a Minieri family company, in December of 1997. He was directly responsible for creating, developing and maintaining the vision of the company. Mr. Gentile responsibilities included portfolio acquisitions, property development and management, corporate and project financing. Additionally, his responsibilities included the development of business opportunities and establishing strategic alliances with other companies and organizations. Mr. Gentile planed, created, and implemented policies and objectives of the business organization, in accordance with board directives and the company charter. He directed and coordinated financial programs to provide funding for new and/or continuing operations, in order to maximize return on investments and increase productivity.
Mr. Gentile founded The Gentile Group, LLC (TGG) in 2003. The company became an active operating company in January of 2005. TGG is a real estate investment, development and management company. The company will utilize this acquisition to capitalize the firm and expand it operations to manage, lease and expand the Wyndham portfolio.
Because of the long standing relationship between Michael Gentile of The Gentile Group, LLC (TGG) and Carl A. Minieri of The Wyndham Organization, Inc, TGG was given the opportunity of acquiring certain assets of The Wyndham Organization, which now constitute the initial assets of The Gentile Group, LLC. The company has utilized this acquisition to capitalize the firm and expand it operations by leveraging its capital to become a major, regional real estate investment and development company over the next five years.
Mr. Gentile graduated from Tri-State University, with a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration and minors in accounting and mathematics. He has completed all MAI courses in Real Estate Asset Evaluation and all courses offered by the Real Estate Securities and Syndication Institute. Additionally, he has developed several commercial loan economic analysis and underwriting models for various financial institutions. He has been an active member in the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), and the National Association of Corporate Real Estate Professionals (NACORE). He is a Founder and past President of the Real Estate Investment Council (REIC) of Tampa.
