Michael DiPrima is an Executive Vice President at CBRE Hotels. Based in Newport Beach, his focus is on hospitality related investments sales along with debt and equity placement throughout the Americas. Michael is part of CBRE Hotels Institutional Group specializing in full and select-service investment sales in the United States, led by Bob Webster. Prior to joining CBRE, Michael served as Managing Director of the Hodges Ward Elliott (HWE) Los Angeles office. Over his 15 years HWE, he built his portfolio of more than $10 billion in hospitality transactions while facilitating dispositions, financing assignments, valuations and other engagements - including the opening of their Los Angeles office in 2015. During his five years in Los Angeles, he spearheaded over $2 billion in hospitality transactions in the Western U.S. alone, including notable properties such as the Bacara Resort and Spa (Santa Barbara, CA), the James Hotel (West Hollywood, CA), the Hyatt Regency (Indian Wells, CA) and the Pasea Hotel and Spa (Huntington Beach, CA). Michael was raised in Atlanta, GA before venturing west to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree from Pepperdine University. While at Pepperdine, Michael was a four-year letterman and co-captain of the nationally ranked men’s golf team. He currently resides in Newport Beach, CA with his wife and children.
