Trinidad and Tobago native, Melrose graduated from Lenore's Business School where after achieving the highest honor from The Royal Society of Arts, England, she entered the teaching profession. Melrose left the teaching field and went into the world of advertising, eventually, becoming the Media Manager for the largest advertising agency in Trinidad and Tobago.
Her continued love of the arts and her talent for number crunching led Melrose to her real estate profession in the United States.
