Bio
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Marylhurst University, Melanie's sixteen year real estate career started in mid-town Manhattan where she managed several high rise office buildings. After four and a half years in New York, she returned to Portland, Oregon and was afforded the opportunity to work with the Bill Naito Company, overseeing the company portfolio, which consisted of Albers Mill, Galleria Building and Montgomery Park located in Portland, Oregon.
Melanie joined Unico Properties LLC as the Senior Property Manager of Montgomery Park, which sold to Unico Properties as of April 1, 2019.
Melanie sat on the Old Town Chinatown Business Association board and is a continuing participant in community meetings and events. Melanie is an Oregon state licensed real estate broker. She joined the BOMA Oregon Board of Directors in January of 2016 and stepped in as co-chair for the Downtown Public Safety Action Committee in June of 2016. She has served on the FRESH Committee from 2015 to 2018. She is the recipient of the CAB Award Property Manager of the Year for 2018.
