Bio
With over three decades of experience observing the real estate and market trends of North Texas, Mehrdad Moayedi has been in the construction and land development business for over 30 years.
Mehrdad Moayedi has been a fixture in the construction and residential development business for over 30 years, observing the real estate and market trends of North Texas to consistent success. In 1990, he established Centurion American Custom Homes, and took on executive duties as president and CEO of Centurion American Development Group.
Centurion strategically enters into joint ventures with other private and public investors, working closely with cities to engage in real estate projects covering all areas of development activities. Not only has the company built several thousand homes, but since 2000, it has developed lifestyles in more than 25,000 acres of land. Centurion’s investor relationships span the largest cities in Texas and areas of Colorado.
Moayedi was recognized by his peers as “Developer of the Year” by the Fort Worth Builders Association (2013). He also received the John Harbin Visionary Award (2013) for his dedication and impact in Tarrant and Denton counties. Moayedi and Centurion have been recognized numerous times by the Dallas Business Journal for the “Best Real Estate Deals of the Year”— most recently winning in the rehab/reuse category for the former Statler Hilton and Old Library Redevelopment Project (2015).
In addition to his achievements, Moayedi is very active in giving back, underwriting several local charities that touch lives and benefit our communities. Operation Forever Free, an organization he founded in 2004, provides homes for injured military servicemen and women. Over the years, he’s been a proud supporter of many community partners and associations in North Texas.
