While studying at NYU to obtain a business degree, Max Maleh started his real estate career at the age of 18 with Fountain Realty as an investment sales broker. At Fountain, he gained an invaluable knowledge about the overall real estate market, how to run a brokerage, sales skills and more specifically, how a residential building operates. He was intrigued by the day-to-day operations of owning a building, and this would later fuel his desire to start purchasing real estate himself. Max wanted to learn another aspect of the industry and decided to join HKS Real Estate Advisors to learn about mortgages.
After a few years of being in the real estate industry, and learning the many different businesses within, he decided it was time for him to take his entrepreneurial skills and start his own company. Max opened BH Realty Group in 2019 and named the company after his beloved and influential grandmother, Barbara Harari. One of BH’s first clients was Conway Capital, a multi-family owner/operator of 35+ buildings throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn.
