Based in CBRE’s Chicago office, Mr. Vanden Eykel’s responsibilities include asset disposition and advisory service to all capital markets clients. Mr. Vanden Eykel is involved with all aspects of investor outreach and the marketing, pre-marketing due diligence, underwriting and valuation, and offering materials production processes. Mr. Vanden Eykel’s experience ranges from office, retail, and industrial one-off dispositions to portfolios and complex sale leaseback transactions. Completed transactions include the $1.6 billion Angelo Gordon Fund II Portfolio, the $1.3 billion Oak Street Real Estate Capital Portfolio, the $540 million net lease sale of the State Farm Portfolio, and the sales of the headquarters of ManpowerGroup and Hagerty Insurance. Mr. Vanden Eykel’s sale leaseback experience includes the $505 million Supervalu industrial portfolio, the $100 million sale of the HP Boise campus, and sale of Walgreens’ 575,000-square foot corporate headquarters campus. Mr. Vanden Eykel has transacted numerous bank branch portfolios for BMO Harris Bank, Bank of America, SunTrust, and Citibank – in total more than 600 branches. Prior to joining CBRE in 2015, Mr. Vanden Eykel was a Vice President with Jones Lang LaSalle’s Capital Markets Group and an Investment Sales Analyst with Eastdil Secured. Focused primarily on office and large retail assets, Mr. Vanden Eykel managed a variety of single asset and portfolio dispositions, equity raises, and recapitalization projects throughout the United States. Primary responsibilities included financial pro formas, underwriting due diligence, and offering materials creation.
