An Oakland Hills resident for 20 years, Maureen Meurer grew up in San Mateo and graduated from Claremont Colleges. Before moving to The East Bay, she worked as a court reporter. Maureen married Dennis Meurer from San Jose in 1995. They have two accomplished daughters: Hailey, 21, a graduate of UCSD Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Marine Biology, who is enjoying her last year of crew with the Tritons, and Hannah, a double graduate of NAU in electrical engineering and computer science, and Japanese, currently working in Norway.
Maureen has been involved in real estate development and remodeling for the past eight years. This field was a natural extension of their contracting business, DLM Enterprises, and her experience in court reporting, as well as her upbringing with her father, a judge. Managing construction jobs provided Maureen with firsthand experience in negotiations, a crucial part of real estate transactions. Her energy and quality of work are reflected in her professionalism.
Maureen enjoys working with people and has had the pleasure of assisting clients in various real estate transactions, including Warehouse Industrial, Multi-units, hospitality, luxury home development, hill homes, heritage homes, complete fixers, short sales, and Live/Work lofts.
Education is a continuing goal for Maureen, who belongs to several commercial groups, including NCalCCIM, Commercial Brokers Association, 680 Exchange, and other groups like ARPB. She and her husband spend personal time supporting their daughters’ swim and water polo team events, soccer, and education. Their hobbies include bike riding, snow skiing, visiting neighbors, and diving when traveling.
