Matt Post is a First Vice President with CBRE Capital Markets, based in Sacramento, California. Matt heads up the Northern California region for the Investment Properties-SoCal/Phoenix/Vegas team. He and his team are widely recognized as the leading investment sales team in the Pacific Western United States.
Matt specializes in understanding the capital markets, creating value in an investment transaction, knowing and accessing investors an developing marketing strategies for commercial investment properties in Northern California. The team’s unique specialty is accessing 1031 exchange buyers, private and public capital. Since 2015, the team has sold more than 598 transactions valued at over $8.79 billion.
Prior to joining CBRE, Matt received his J.D. from the University of California, Davis, School of Law and practiced corporate law for six years – advising large and small companies in a variety of business law and real estate matters. A graduate of Claremont McKenna College, Matt was a multi-sport athlete and captain of the men’s soccer team.
