Matt's career aspirations have taken various turns over the years. Initially, he harbored dreams of making it to the NBA, which later gave way to a desire to become a lawyer, driven by his penchant for engaging in spirited debates with his father. This ambition then evolved into an interest in accounting before culminating in his graduation from Wake Forest. Following his academic journey, Matt served as an Army Infantry Officer, though the demands of the role eventually led him to seek a change.
It was during this transitional period that Matt discovered his passion for real estate. This field resonated with him due to its ability to combine his problem-solving skills with his background in finance. More importantly, it afforded him the opportunity to connect with new people and unravel their unique life stories.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Matt's interests encompass a diverse range of activities. When he's not immersed in his real estate endeavors, you might find him savoring a glass of bourbon while meticulously assembling a wristwatch. His love for the outdoors is evident as well, as he actively participates in triathlons and embarks on adventures alongside his fiancée, Portia, and their Husky companion, Gwen.
