Since TYG's inception in 2017, Mathew and his team have brokered some of the largest investment transactions in the Intermountain region, representing a wide variety of clients and product types including institutional and private-client multi-family, office, industrial, retail, and self-storage properties. Mr. Bird entered the commercial real estate industry in 2008 and was first associated with Marcus & Millichap ("MMI") where he specialized in the sale of apartment communities.
Prior to his real estate career, Mathew was a Senior Executive Sales Representative for TEVA Pharmaceuticals ("TEVA") where he was consistently ranked as a top performer in the country. During his time with Teva, he held advisory and training roles in several fields including market trend research, sales, product launch marketing, and territory management. Mathew is highly regarded for his expertise in joining customer needs with product sales. Before joining TEVA, he worked at Forest Laboratories, LLC (now Allergan), where he was a manager, trainer, and marketing advisor.
Mathew has specialty experience in managing large territories as well as being a top sales agent to an elite demographic. During his 20 years with these companies, he has managed accounts in Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana.
