Bio
Mathew Adler joined Newmark’s Washington, DC, office in 2015, where he serves as Managing Director. Adler is charged with growing and managing the firm’s retail capital markets practice in the Mid-Atlantic region. During his 13-year career, he and his team have sold more than $4 billion of retail properties along the East Coast.
Prior to Newmark, Adler worked in investment sales with KLNB Retail, where he co-founded the retail capital markets team. Prior to KLNB Retail, Adler began his investment sales career with a national brokerage company.
Before embarking on his brokerage career, Adler held multiple positions in a family-owned clothing business, throughout the Mid-Atlantic for six years. He brings the specialized expertise he obtained in this position to Newmark’s retail platform.
