Mary had the good fortune to grow up in a family that developed, owned and operated a commercial and residential real estate company. Mary moved to Manhasset with her parents in 1968. It had always been their dream to live on the North Shore of Long Island. After teaching elementary school for a number of years, she joined the family business; later to become manager of her mother's Manhasset real estate office, Aug Millang Real Estate (current Laffey Associates Fine Homes and Estates - Manhasset office).
During this time she held a variety of positions in the Manhasset-Port Washington Real Estate Board, most recently that of President. With over thirty years as a licensed real estate sales agent, nineteen of those as a broker, Mary's knowledge of the area, her expertise in real estate and her connections both personal and professional, set her apart from others.
Throughout this time, Mary has been an active member of the Manhasset community. While raising three children, she was very involved in their school activities; treasurer of the nursery school, member of various elementary school committees, and Board member of the Chaminade High School Parents Club.
Mary is very excited about this collaboration with Laffey Associates- a winning combination; years of experience and cutting edge technology.
