Mary Alfortish Cheramie, the broker of Generations Realty Group, co-founded the company alongside her husband, Cory. A proud Louisiana State University alumna, Mary holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Louisiana. Her journey as a third-generation realtor began when she obtained her license in 2011.
Before embarking on her real estate career, Mary gained invaluable experience in corporate finance at Ernst & Young in New York City and ExxonMobil in Houston. Her CPA designation and background equip her with a uniquely analytical approach to real estate transactions, making her adept at handling all types of deals, particularly those involving cash flow analysis and complex valuations such as commercial and investment properties. Mary is currently pursuing a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation to further enhance her service offering.
In addition to providing top-tier service to her clients, Mary takes great pleasure in supporting the realtors who have chosen to join the Generations Realty Group family. She and Cory firmly believe that their realtors are their most valuable assets, and they find immense fulfillment in contributing to the growth of their individual businesses.
Married since 2016, Cory and Mary cherish their two beautiful children. Outside of their real estate pursuits, the family loves exploring the great outdoors, maintaining an active lifestyle, discovering new dining experiences, and savoring the myriad activities and amenities available in their hometown of Mandeville, Louisiana, and the greater New Orleans area. They also actively seek opportunities to give back to their community through leadership roles and charitable giving.
