Born in Brooklyn but residing in Staten Island for over 40 years, Martin Friedman has been a NYS Real Estate Salesperson exclusively with Gateway Arms Realty for 15 years and counting. He has sold over $30 million in sales, most of which earned from his specialty of St George Co-Ops.
Marty also handles residential and commercial real estate, including sales and leasing of properties. As a full time agent, Marty enjoys putting deals together and helping serve the clients in the best way possible. He was recruited into the real estate field by Gateway Arms in 2000 due to his professional experience and expansive knowledge of the insurance field gained from his time as Vice President in a computer division of Empire Insurance.
Since then, Marty has proved himself to be an extraordinary and reliable agent, always serving the client as a priority such as being present at every showing; he even has a 15 year long client that still works with him! Marty is a member of the Staten Island Board of Realtors and Multiple Listing Service of Staten Island.
Marty moved to Staten Island after marrying his wife of 39 years, Grace. Together they raised three beautiful daughters and were blessed with three grandchildren. Marty loves watching football and baseball, enjoys weekends at Atlantic City, and has a fondness for clowns. If you ever go on vacation, Marty recommends taking a cruise to Aruba where he guarantees you will have the best time.
