Marlene's most recent appointment, August 2024, is to the newly formed Framingham Economic Development Corporation. She is also a new board member of White Snake Projects is an activist opera company making mission-driven work that unites artmaking with civic practice and messages.
Marlene was named one of ten Boston’s Power Brokers by CoStar Group in 3 times. The CoStar Power Broker Awards recognizes brokerage firms and individual brokers for their volume of sales and leasing transactions of office, industrial and retail properties in CoStar’s database as well as transaction data supplied by the companies and brokers in each of the 62 markets. Recent sales include Marian High School 100K s.f. + closed school, representing the Archdiocese, a solar farm, a 26,000 sf Natick Office Building, multi-families, office, industrial & retail leases and a land site in Holliston, MA to a religious group.

Marlene specializes in retail sales & leasing, non-profit and medical tenant/buyer representation. A few recent and successful exclusive representation assignments include - Wayside Youth & Family Support Network - 10 acre headquarters site, Jewish Community Housing for the Elderly - 8.8 acre site for 150 units - 90% to be affordable housing, Metrowest Jewish Day School - 10 acre site for a new school, Great Brook Valley 2 - medical sites in Downtown Framingham, Framingham Heart Study - 18,000 s.f. relocation for office, a 14,000 s.f. lease to Sewfisticated Fabrics in the former Fabric Place buildings in downtown Framingham, a long term lease for a new liquor store in Wayland and Dr. Havreem Singh- Rt. 9 lease for medical practice.
Other sales include a 27,000 s.f. closed Framingham nursing home, a 1.95 acre Downtown Framingham redevelopment lot - $1.625M and a 3 parcel package including 2 closed TD Bank buildings and a one acre lot for $1.45M and a Framingham Solar Farm for $1,950,000. Some of the 2021 transactions are ; Marlene has sold 2 income properties in Framingham, leased 5,442 s.f. office space on Rt. 9 in Southboro to Barrett Family Wellness Center, leased 7,000 s.f. retail space in Downtown Framingham, sold a daycare center acting as dual agent with Seller's permission and sold a small business zoned property to be torn down to build a multi-unit project.
