Bio
Mark Tergesen joined ABS Partners in 2009 as Managing Director of the newly launched Retail Services Group. Mr. Tergesen began his real estate career in 2003, quickly moving through the ranks of a residential firm but moved his focus into commercial leasing in 2005, as the owner of a boutique brokerage firm MT Advisors. Since its inception, the Retail Services Group at ABS has grown exponentially. It is now consistently recognized annually amongst the top retail leasing firms for Landlord
representation in the NYC market. Mr. Tergesen leads a team of seven agents that represent both ABS’ portfolio of retail space as well as numerous third-party clients from both the Landlord and Tenant
representation side. Mr. Tergesen was named to the Real Estate Forum’s list of ‘Tomorrow’s Leaders’ in NYC commercial real estate – an award furnished to two dozen executives under the age of 45 who were recognized for having both made their mark on New York City and
who were predicted to become more prominent in years to come. He is a member of the REBNY retail committee and serves as the Vice-Chairperson on the newly created REBNY Upper Manhattan and Bronx committee. Mr. Tergesen is a licensed broker and associate broker and graduated from Lafayette College in 1999 with a BA.
