Mark oversees PacTrust’s retail portfolio, which represents approximately 25 percent of the company’s total assets, and includes 12 shopping centers and 65 single-tenant assets around the country. Mark works to maximize cash flow on these properties to support PacTrust’s public pension fund partners.
After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Oregon State University, Mark served as an officer of the U.S. Navy for three years in Vietnam. He then worked in retail leasing and sales for more than 10 years at Cushman & Wakefield (originally the Gilley Company). Mark joined the PacTrust team in 1988.
Decades of experience in sales and marketing make Mark an incredible asset to PacTrust. He is known around the office for his encyclopedic knowledge of company history and his many connections in the retail industry. As a Portland native, Mark is also the go-to source for local history and happenings. He has been a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) since 1983.
