Mark Lombardo, Director, comes to Encon Commercial with extensive experience in facilitating lease and purchase requirements of commercial properties throughout Greater Los Angeles. Mr. Lombardo has achieved ten years experience in commercial real estate delivering his clients the ability to make informed decisions on corporate leases and space allocation.
Mr. Lombardo established his career in the Client Solutions department of Cushman & Wakefield, a global real estate services firm. He achieved a strong foundation in the research department, and was an invaluable asset on an industrial brokerage team. Following several years in brokerage, he accepted a position to assist in leasing and managing a real estate portfolio of over three million square feet comprised of both industrial and office buildings. Mr. Lombardo brings insight and clarity to the landlord leasing scenario and obtained valuable experience in leasing many different property types, from large logistic parks to Class A office space across Greater Los Angeles.
As a result of this extensive experience, Mr. Lombardo advises tenants on a wide variety of real estate decisions. These include helping tenants lower their total rental costs, negotiating on behalf of tenants and obtaining best terms and rates. Mr. Lombardo brings a site selection philosophy to determine the best locations and a focused consulting practice to help companies lower their fixed costs, retain employees and make informed decisions. These services include providing lease versus purchase analysis, effective rental rate analysis and broker opinions of value, assisting clients through the land development process, renegotiating favorable lease terms at renewal and structuring leases to include options to purchase.
Recently, Mr. Lombardo took a sabbatical in Paris, France, learned the language, and returned to Los Angeles able to speak and communicate in French. While in France he volunteered his services teaching English in cultural exchange.
A long-time resident of Los Angeles, Mr. Lombardo currently resides in Pasadena, California and holds a graduate degree in Urban Planning from Cornell University, as well as an Bachelor’s degree in history from UC Los Angeles.
