Mark Myers is the Executive Director of Institutional Property Advisors’ (IPA) Seniors Housing Group and Executive Vice President Investments and Director of Marcus & Millichap’s National Seniors Housing Group. Mr. Myers has more than 20 years of real estate experience specializing in seniors housing and long-term care facility investment sales. In his career, Mr. Myers and his team have closed $4.4 billion in seniors housing transactions across 41 states, representing private investors, institutional clients, and seniors housing operators in the disposition of seniors housing facilities and portfolios. In 2016, Mr. Myers and his team closed on the sale of the largest privately owned nursing home portfolio nationwide since 2012 (sale price over $500 million), the second largest stand-alone facility transaction in history at $110 million, and closed over $1 billion in overall sales of seniors housing and long-term care assets during 2016.
Since joining the firm, Mr. Myers has consistently been one of its top brokers, receiving many prestigious awards, including top ten agent of the year on four occasions. He was recently appointed Executive Vice President of Marcus & Millichap, an honor held by the firm’s top 11 highest grossing career earners. Mr. Myers was inducted into the Midwest Real Estate Hall of Fame in 2012.
Mr. Myers’ team has grown exponentially and their output has more than doubled every year for the last three years. Mr. Myers received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Wheaton College and an MBA from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Business.
