Mark Klug is an Executive Vice President with CBRE where he specializes in Advisory and Transaction Services in Washington, D.C. representing both Tenants and Landlords. During his 17-year career, Mark has represented over 80 listings in Washington, D.C. and currently represents 22 listings totaling a portfolio of nearly 4.5 million SF. Mark was involved in the completion of over 100 transactions in his first year in the business and has successfully completed more than 1,100 transactions since joining CBRE in 2005. In 2009 he was awarded the Leasing Transaction of the year by CREBA for a 220,000 SF lease with Kaiser Permanente at 700 2nd Street, NE and again in 2012 for the 200,000 SF Intelsat lease at Tysons Tower. In 2015, Mark represented Douglas Development and Brookfield Properties in Advisory Board Company’s lease for 532,000 SF which was awarded one of WBJ’s Real Estate Deals of the Year and Real Estate Forum & Globe Streets Dealmakers: Deal of the Year. Mark is consistently recognized as a CBRE Top 20% Producer and is a licensed salesperson in the District of Columbia and North Carolina. Prior to joining CBRE in 2005, Mark worked for CoStar as a commercial real estate research analyst and also with his family real estate business in his hometown of Pinehurst, NC. He is an avid golfer and lives in Chevy Chase with his wife and three children.
