Mark Hajdu is the President and CEO of Triumph Commercial Real Estate, a company which he founded in July 2007. Triumph Commercial is a unique full service real estate development, investment, and sales and leasing company. Triumph Commercial is an innovative leader in the present real estate market, actively addressing the opportunities presented by the current economic environment. Mr. Hajdu has enjoyed a varied and successful career in the commercial real estate market.
He began his career over thirty years ago when he joined CB Commercial in 1985. At CB Commercial, Mr. Hajdu developed its retail information system and worked as a broker in its retail tenant directory. Less than ten years later, in 1993, Mr. Hajdu joined the largest independent real estate firm in Texas, Henry S. Miller Commercial, as an Executive Vice President. At Henry S. Miller, Mr. Hajdu was the number one retail broker in 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004. During these years, Mr. Hajdu was also in the top 10 brokers division-wide at Henry S. Miller Commercial. Mr. Hajdu has a personal transaction volume exceeding $402 million. He has brokered countless transactions for a wide variety of tenants and landlords including, NTB, United Artists, Lowes Home Improvement, Home Depot, Subway, Neighborhood Credit Union, Boston Chicken, Blockbuster Video, and Jack-In-The-Box just to name a few.
He is also actively involved in the development of shopping centers, and has successfully completed the development and leasing of centers in Cedar Hill, TX, Waxahachie, TX, Denton, TX, Balch Springs, TX, Nacagdoches, TX, and Dumas TX. Mr. Hajdu is a SMU Mustang through and through, graduating in 1984 and continuing his devotion to the University through its Mustang Club Alumni group ever since. He is also a member of ICSC and NTCAR. Mr. Hajdu has been married for over twenty years to his wife, Jennifer Stoddard Hajdu, who is a real estate attorney with her own firm in Dallas. They have three children, Claire a TCU graduate, Kate a soccer player at Texas A&M and Jack who attends Jesuit in Dallas.
