Function: Corporate and Franchisee Development of Popeye's and Church's Chicken restaurants throughout a ten state territory in the Southeast and East Coast portions of the US. Duties included market surveys, site selection, Franchisee site review and liaison between Franchisee and Corporate for new site development. Duties also included the appraisal, management and disposition of surplus real estate in that same territory.
CHURCH’S FRIED CHICKEN COMPANY, SAN ANTONIO, TX 1988-1989
Title: Real Estate Manager, Team Leader
Function: Responsible for training a team of managers in field appraisal techniques, so as to establish a market price and marketing program to dispose of $40 million in surplus real estate in 30 states. While in this capacity my team disposed of $18 million in 12 months. I received Outstanding Achievement Award for my personal disposition of $4.6 million during that period; and was promoted to Real Estate Director with parent company Al Copeland Enterprises.
