Marilyn Lissner has been actively involved in the Suburban Chicago Metropolitan Commercial Real Estate industry for more than 20 years and has consistently been on C&W’s “Midwest Top Producers’ List”. During 2005, Ms. Lissner was in the top 5 Office Brokers in her region and number 2 in her office. Throughout her career, her Team has executed more than $3 billion worth of transactions realizing dramatic savings in both time and money for their corporate clients. Ms. Lissner’s tenant representation experience includes such major corporations as Anixter, Aspect Software, Ceridian, Crowell & Moring, LLP., Fireman’s Fund, General Casualty, Hewlett Packard, Honeywell, Lucent, NEC, Newell Rubbermaid, Nokia, Pitney Bowes, P&O Nedlloyd, Siemens, Unilever and US Bank. Her focus is on creating and implementing real estate strategies for her clients. She draws upon a full range of acquisition and disposition disciplines and has been involved in recasting and negotiating conventional leases, subleases, build-to-suits, purchases, sales and sale/leaseback transactions. She is also the single point of contact or preferred vendor representing corporate clients on acquisition and disposition strategies for real estate portfolios of several million square feet. Ms. Lissner’s landlord representation experience has been in the repositioning, releasing and sale of user/owner properties and the leasing of select office properties. Highlights include dispositions and leasing agencies for major corporations such as Calamos Properties (current), First American Properties (current), Green Bay Capital, Exelon (current), Calamos Realty, LLC (current), Honeywell, Novartis, Rockwell, Sanyo, Simon Property Group, Quadrangle Development (current) and US Bank. Ms. Lissner is an active member in the industry and a leader in several real estate professional organizations including Chicago Real Estate Executive Women (CREW) (Founder, Board Member and President), Chicago Office Leasing Broker’s Association (COLBA) and Corenet Global. Her community involvement includes Mentiium (Women Leadership Mentoring Organization) and the 2004/2005 Holocaust Museum Event Committee. Within Cushman & Wakefield she has served locally on the Executive Committee and nationally on the Market Research Advisory Council and the Senior Management Committee. Local newspapers and trade magazines quote her regularly. She has been a speaker at industry seminars and meetings discussing national and local office market trends. Ms. Lissner and her Team have been nominated for many industry awards, winning the 2005 Cushman & Wakefield Service Excellence Award (based solely on client satisfaction), the 2004 NAIOP Suburban Office Transaction of the Year, 2003 Cushman & Wakefield Service Excellence Award, NAIOP Build-To-Suit Transaction of the Year Award, 1999 NAIOP Office Transaction of the Year Award and 1995 Greater Chicago Food Depository (former Crain’s) Chicago Office Tenant Representative of the Year Award. In the past ten years, Ms. Lissner and her Team have been nominated by their peers and professional organizations for at least one award each year.
