I take great pride in the reputation that I have established over my career - as a proven market strategist and negotiator, and as an ethical and tenacious client champion.<br /><br />I am proud to be with Golden Gate/Sotheby’s International Realty brokerage, and as my business has grown I have established a dynamic and growing team. These potent resources, combined with my consistent mission and focus, has led to a personal brand that is associated with professionalism and respect in the competitive market of the San Mateo coastal communities.<br /><br />My background in the corporate world (employee benefits sales and service), non-profit organizational development, along with a pair of cross-country work related relocations (with young children) provide me with a broad context for understanding my clients’ needs. I am conscious of and empathize with all the motivations, urgencies, and emotions associated with buying and selling homes, and certainly with the turmoil of moving and transition.<br /><br />A Bay Area native, I was born and raised in Marin County. I have lived most of my adult life in San Mateo County after our family settled in Half Moon Bay during the 1989 housing boom. We expected a brief tenure here, but little did we realize that the ocean breezes and small town charm would leave an indelible mark on our family. I have been happily married since 1981 and live with my husband, Rick, our rescue dog Jake, along with an adventurous kitty “Junior”. Our two beautiful children have been out of the nest for several years, and have launched to become grounded and successful young adults.<br />I began my real estate career in 2003 and continue to feel passionate about bringing the special nature of the San Mateo Coastside as a Silicon Valley/ San Francisco bedroom community to both visitors and buyers.
