Maribel's journey began in California, where she grew up, but her aspirations led her to Miami at the young age of 20. Moving to Miami had been a lifelong dream of hers, and she made it a reality when she relocated with her parents and brother. She has grown to love Miami deeply and wouldn't trade it for anywhere else in the world.

She is also a proud mother to her son, Nicholas, who graduated from the University of Maryland with degrees in Architecture and Real Estate Development. Nicholas returned to Miami after graduation, affirming that Miami is his home and expressing no desire to live elsewhere.
