Bio
Margaret Lloyd is Senior Vice President of Brokerage Services with the Plaza Companies. She has spent more than three decades in the commercial real estate industry in Arizona. She began in 1983 with Grubb & Ellis Commercial Brokerage as a Senior Associate in landlord and tenant representation, leasing and sales in the Retail Division. During that time she represented some of the finest developers, owners and tenants in the shopping center industry. This was followed by 10 years with a prominent local developer, The Pederson Group, where she was Vice President of Leasing overseeing the pre-development and leasing of approximately 5 million square feet of commercial office and retail properties. Since joining Plaza Companies in 2010, she has focused on leasing and sales of more than 750,000 square feet of medical office properties. This includes extensive experience with on-campus properties such as: • Estrella Medical Plaza, which she brought to 100 percent occupancy during her tenure on the property. • Paradise Valley Medical Plaza, owned by USAA, which is approaching 90 percent occupancy. • Thunderbird Medical Plaza (across from Banner Thunderbird Hospital), which was taken from 60 percent occupancy to 95 percent leased under her guidance. Her current portfolio also includes the Plaza Del Rio Campus at 94th Drive and Thunderbird Road and owned by Plaza Companies, Surprise Medical Center, and a number of third-party properties throughout the Valley. Margaret also serves on the Healthcare Leadership Council for the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, and is an active member of Lambda Alpha International, Commercial One and West Valley Commercial Real Estate Group. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from Arizona State University.
