Marc has spent his entire professional career in West Michigan and firmly believes that developing long-term, trusting relationships with his clients is essential to success. He always stresses putting the interest of the client ahead of merely "getting the deal done" to earn a commission.
Marc's approach to representing buyers and tenants is as a trusted advisor and not as a hard-charging salesman. He believes in honesty and providing all the relevant information to his clients so that they come to a decision that is best for them. His approach to representing Landlords and Owners in the disposition of their buildings is to make sure any potential users are aware of the property either through Jaqua Realtors' systematic marketing plan or directly contacting potential users through cold-calls. Especially important in this role is a commitment to communicating with the client regularly.
Marc, with his broad business background and strong financial skills, has been involved in real estate since 1999. Previously, Marc worked at NAI of West Michigan, and Cushman & Wakefield Inc., where he was named their West Michigan office's top salesperson in 2010 (Kalamazoo, Lansing, Grand Rapids, and Holland Offices) and was consistently one of their top salespeople. Before his start in commercial real estate, Marc was a Vice President and Senior Investment Manager with the Parkstone Group of Mutual Funds as part of their Fixed Income Asset Management Team. Marc believes that success in this business is also highly dependent on hard-work. Few brokers work more hours than Marc.
