With over fifteen years of experience in the commercial real estate sector, Marc collaborates closely with organizations, enabling them to make intelligent decisions regarding their real estate needs. He has a broad range of skills that cover lease and contract negotiation, acquisition and sale strategies, and efficient project management, guaranteeing a smooth experience for every client as they navigate the complexities of real estate procedures.
Marc's approach to this dynamic field is marked by a multidisciplinary mindset, recognizing the diverse expertise required for success. He has successfully partnered with clients from various industries, including legal, healthcare, financial services, architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC), as well as Nonprofit organizations. Some of his notable past clients include the DC Association of Realtors, the Society of America Foresters, the Environmental Investigation Agency, Employee Navigator, Baxter International, Sargent & Lundy, Kennedys Law, and Northmarq.
Prior to joining Colliers, Marc was Managing Director of Savills and was instrumental in opening their Boca office. Prior to relocating to Florida, Mr. Fechter served as a Senior Vice President at Broad Street Realty in Washington DC. His previous experience includes being an associate vice president at Summit Commercial, where he was recognized as the Rookie of the Year. Additionally, Marc contributed to the launch of the international commercial real estate research data provider, CoStar, by working in inside sales and launching numerous products and markets. Now Marc lives with his wife and two daughters in Parkland, Florida.
