As CEO of KBS, a nationally recognized real estate investment advisory firm, Mr. DeLuca directs business activities and oversees all KBS operations including the acquisition and management of individual investments and portfolios of income-producing real estate assets. Mr. DeLuca is also responsible for all acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management activities in the eastern United States, is a member of the Executive Committee and is chairman of the KBS Investment Committee that reviews and approves all new investments and dispositions for the firm. Mr. DeLuca began his real estate career in 1994 with American Property Services where he managed the operations of a multimillion-dollar commercial and residential real estate portfolio. In 1996, he joined SFRE Management where he was a vice president/principal and was responsible for directing all oversight for their commercial and multifamily portfolio. Mr. DeLuca, in 1999, joined ING Clarion Partners in Washington, D.C. Mr. DeLuca became a managing director at Clarion Partners and was responsible for acquisitions and dispositions for the Mid- Atlantic Region from Delaware to South Florida. He created and led a diverse team in the property management, asset management and acquisition platforms. Mr. DeLuca graduated from George Washington University with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and public policy and earned a Master of Science degree in real estate from Johns Hopkins University.
