At an early age, Mr. Simmons began to develop a love for real estate. This passion has stuck with him from childhood through adulthood. The name that has been attached to him was “Malik the Builder” due to rehabbing houses in high school, during, and post-undergraduate. That eventually led Mr. Simmons to a career as an apprentice carpenter in the union. After graduating from Harris Stowe State University with a degree in Finance, he received his Realtor’s license and joined SmartEquity as an Associate. Mr. Simmons strives to provide high-quality, personalized service to each business and company. His love for numbers and attention to detail makes him the perfect person to mitigate risk.
Mr. Simmons enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and creating memories with his family in his spare time. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, National Sales Network (St. Louis Chapter) & Kappa Alpha Psi St. Louis Alumni Chapter. Mr. Simmons gives back to Harris Stowe State University by speaking to incoming /present students on wealth building, goal setting, and money management.
