ouisa Ketron is a native of Deep River, currently residing in the Ivoryton village of Essex. She has always lived within Connecticut's borders, having attended The University of Connecticut at Storrs for both her bachelor's and MBA in Marketing. Louisa's entire career has been in the area of sales, marketing and development work. As a corporate sales representative for computer distributors in Fairfield County, Connecticut she was an account representative to many Fortune 500 Companies. This experience honed her skills in contract communications, marketing and negotiating. Her role as liason to her corporate accounts necessitated team building and garnering resources to solve client problems and provide solutions. Louisa is an active volunteer for nonprofit organizations in the community. These include: The Ivoryton Library Association, The Ivoryton Playhouse Foundation, and the Essex Auxiliary of Child and Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut. She maintains memberships in area organizations for professional networking opportunities, the Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce and Women's Network of Southeastern Connecticut. She serves on the Connecticut Association of Realtors Grassroots Committee and is a Realtor Champion for agent advocacy. Recently, the Essex Auxiliary of Child and Family Agency of Southeastern CT named Louisa as "Volunteer of the Year"
