Bio
John L. Scott Bellevue-Issaquah broker Lori McDonald got her real estate license in 1990 and has worked full-time as a broker since 2003. Before real estate, Lori was a flight attendant for Northwest Airlines, traveling internationally as a part of her job to destinations in Europe and Asia. She was drawn to real estate because the industry is constantly changing, making the work of helping others buy and sell consistently exciting.
Lori helps all types of clients reach their real estate goals, often helping people in Issaquah, Maple Valley, Black Diamond, Enumclaw, Lake Tapps, Buckley, Puyallup, and Sumner. Though Lori has many awards, accreditations, and experiences under her belt, she strongly believes it is crucial to continuously seek further education on current market trends and happenings in the real estate industry. This, coupled with her dedication to going above-and-beyond when it comes to staging and marketing has resulted in many happy clients who choose Lori again and again for their real estate needs.
For many people, the purchase or sale of a home will be their largest investment in life. Lori’s goal is to successfully and easily help clients navigate through the financial, investment and emotional decisions involved in a real estate transaction. Whether clients are new to the area or have lived here for years, she can be a valuable community resource when making a move. Over the past two decades, Lori has honed her negotiation skills to help her clients maximize their real estate investment. Additionally, her approach is centered around excellent customer service, honesty, and integrity – so clients making this important life decision can rest assured they have the best representation possible with Lori.
Lori is inspired by giving back and helping others. Whether it be family, friends, or clients, she likes to provide and set the groundwork for others looking to accomplish their goals. Many of Lori’s friends’ joke, “Don’t say you need something done around Lori – if she can’t get it done, she will call someone that can get it done from her pool of contacts.” She is dedicated to many causes, including the Alzheimer’s Association, the Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce, and the Seattle Children's Guild Association. She also served as a planning commissioner for seven years.
When she is not working or volunteering, Lori takes full advantage of living in the Pacific Northwest – hiking, traveling and snow skiing.
