Bio
Lori has Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowling Green State University in communications and a Masters of Education from John Carroll University. For over 15 years she developed, implemented and evaluated various programs, events and fundraisers. She has developed innovative collaborative partnerships with institutional stakeholders, small business owners and residents. Lori brings over fifteen years of experience in serving residents from assisting homeowners with home maintenance issues, finding home improvement loans, renovation of properties, to buying and selling properties.
Lori has a passion for helping people and is evident through her career choices. She has advocated for seniors and children in her work as a director for Senior Citizen Resources and a teacher at Cleveland Metropolitan School District. As Program Director for Old Brooklyn Community Development Corporation she worked for seven years helping to revitalize the neighborhood through residential home improvement programs, community outreach and helping seniors to age in place.
Recently, Lori and her husband Jose Estremera have contributed to the revitalization of Cleveland neighborhoods through buying, rehabilitating abandoned properties and turning them into safe, beautiful homes again. As a licensed real estate agent, Lori’s passion continues in helping first time homeowner’s realize their dream, seller’s make the move to downsize or upgrade depending on their lifestyle choices, and investors prepare for their financial future.
