Bio
Since 2005, Lorene Ferris McMurrin has focused her real estate expertise in the areas of Commercial Office, Retail, Industrial and Investment properties to include both sales and leasing. An initial needs assessment is completed with each client to help identify and educate on specific properties that will be best suited for the client. When listing investment properties, Lorene offers a market analysis as well as a property analysis with an extensive marketing program including local and national websites, target mailings, broker to broker meetings, post cards and newspaper advertising when appropriate. Over the years she has worked with various Regional tenants to represent them in finding additional spaces for expansion. Whether you are looking to lease or purchase, Lorene excels in finding properties and walking the client through the lease or purchase process from the very beginning to the close of escrow as well as lease negotiations. Lorene has an extensive background in Public Relations and Sales. After graduating from college, Lorene started a commercial painting company. With a basic crew of five employees she bid jobs from architects, contractors and property management companies. Depending on the job, the specific crew could be 2 to 3 employees up to a maximum of 30 employees. Most of the painting contracts were for interior office spaces and restaurants, including Jake’s Seafood and Crawfish House. Her commercial painting business lead her to Paramount Studios 3 years later, where she painted studio sets for movies and television shows. In addition, she opened a new business as an editor. Film and/or television recordings would be transcribed word by word, frame by frame. A very time consuming process. During her time at Paramount Studios, she viewed over 1,000 films and television shows. Lorene Ferris McMurrin is a wife and mother of two grown boys. A native of Salem, Oregon with deep family roots, she has served on the West Salem High School Athletic Boosters for five years, University of Oregon Alumni Association Advocacy chair for six years and is also a weight lifter and race walker. Her charitable contributions include Hope & Safety, Casa, Jesuit Food Bank, Compassion International and many other local and international charities.
