Lisa Murphy joined The Providence Group in 2013 as Vice President of Strategy and Product Development, working directly with Warren Jolly to develop and implement the overall strategic plan for the company as it applies to growth, land acquisition, product programming, project planning, internal operating systems and interdepartmental communications. As a liason between land acquisition and development and the sales, marketing and construction teams, she will work to ensure that critical information is tracked and disseminated in a timely manner, creating a stronger team and even better process for home buyers.
Prior to joining The Providence Group, Lisa was the Founder and President of Focused Market Solutions, LLC, an Atlanta based real estate advisory firm specializing in providing fundamental marketing support to builder and developer clients. Specific services included market feasibility studies, product programming, strategic planning, promotional oversight and corporate training.
Her industry experience spans over 25 years and includes a background in sales, construction, architecture, land acquisition, advertising, marketing and management. Prior to starting her own company in January of 2000, Ms. Murphy was employed for eight years by Torrey Homes, Inc. who was acquired by D.R. Horton, Inc. in 1997. During her tenure at Torrey Homes, Ms. Murphy was instrumental in the growth of that company from 159 homes per year in a single market to over 4,300 homes per year in 15 markets throughout the Southeast. In 1996, the National Sales & Marketing Council of the NAHB named Ms. Murphy Marketing Director of the Year for Region XIII.
