As a Managing Partner, my role at Greenstone Partners is to serve as a director in our retail investment sales division and leasing services. Greenstone is a boutique real estate firm serving the needs of institutional and private investors with a specific focus on retail and office properties. Our team is comprised of experienced professionals in all facets of the commercial real estate industry providing a comprehensive suite of investment, leasing, advisory and management solutions.
Prior to co-founding Greenstone Partners, Leo was the Vice President of Investment Sales for First Western Properties, Inc., a Chicago full service commercial brokerage house. Mr. Solarte was key in the rapid growth and brand recognition for all First Western sales activities including acquisitions and dispositions along with landlord and tenant representation.
Mr. Solarte has been recognized with 10 distinct industry awards for this work in Retail Real Estate since 2010. Most recently, Mr. Solarte was made an Honoree of the National Association of Realtors' 30 Under 30 Class of 2012, a prestigious award that eluded him when he was a Finalist in 2011. Mr. Solarte has also been recognized as a CoStar Retail Power Broker for years 2013, 2012 and 2011 and as a Top Retail Leasing & Sales Agent annually since 2010 by the Chicago Association of Realtor’s CommericalForum. His achievements have been announced several times in Real Estate publications.
Mr. Solarte is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and holds an active Illinois Real Estate Broker License. Mr. Solarte is also active in volunteering through several Illinois Masonic charities.
