Lawrence Gardner is President and CEO of OMS Strategic Advisors, LLC, a real estate services firm specializing in tenant representation, project leasing, and real estate consulting. Mr. Gardner began his real estate career at the Trammell Crow Company and later joined Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, Inc. prior to starting OMS. During his 16 years in the industry, Mr. Gardner has served a wide range of clients nationally and has participated in transactions totaling more than 10 million square feet (sf).
Mr. Gardner secured unprecedented economic concessions, signage, and expansion/contraction rights while representing the headquarter transaction for Oncor Electric Delivery Company and TXU Energy’s corporate relocation from Houston, Texas to Dallas’ Central Business District. The Dallas Business Journal recognized these accomplishments by selecting the transactions as finalists for “Best Deal of the Year” in 2002 and 2000, respectively.
Mr. Gardner has been named a Heavy Hitter by the Dallas Business Journal multiple times and was recognized in 2004 by the Dallas Business Journal as the Top Office Project Leasing Agent in the DFW Metroplex. Responsible for agency leasing, Mr. Gardner has negotiated more than 1.2 million sf of office leases at Bank of America Plaza, the largest building in Dallas (1.8 million sf).
Mr.Gardner’s community experience includes Baylor Specialty Health Centers Board of Trustees, The Salesmanship Club of Dallas, and The Dallas Assembly. Mr. Gardner has served on the boards of C&W’s National Diversity Council, North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, The Dallas Assembly, Leadership Dallas, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Central Dallas Association Downtown Improvement District.
Mr.Gardner earned his MBA degree from the University of Michigan and Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University.
