Larry Ruggieri joined Newmark in January 2013 as an executive managing director. Mr. Ruggieri brings an outstanding 15-year record in Westchester County commercial real estate with a specialty in tenant representation and portfolio leasing, maintaining a 90% or higher occupancy rate. Mr. Ruggieri has completed over 100 transactions annually for the past seven years. Mr. Ruggieri has also brought a number of vacant buildings up to high occupancy levels. He has been involved in a number of building sales, representing both buyers and sellers in Westchester County. Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Ruggieri served as a director of the transaction services group of Cushman & Wakefield’s Westchester County, NY, office. Most recently, he was the exclusive leasing agent for a portfolio of nearly five million square feet. Mr. Ruggieri also represented numerous tenants in the market including: FSC, APS Healthcare, Chemoil, Granite Construction, Broadrock Renewables and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. During Mr. Ruggieri’s career, he specialized in leasing agencies in which he brought a number of vacant buildings up to 90% or better occupancy levels. Such assignments included 303 South Broadway and 120 White Plains Road, Tarrytown, NY; 800 Westchester Avenue, Rye Brook, NY; 1133 Westchester Avenue, One North Broadway and 445 Hamilton Avenue White Plains, NY; 440, 550 and 600 Mamaroneck Avenue, Harrison, NY; 220, 222, 226 and 245 Westchester Avenue also in Harrison.
Earlier in his career Mr. Ruggieri spent three years at Newmark & Company Real Estate, a forerunner for Newmark. He is on the board of the United Way and an active member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Westchester County.
