LaMarr Datcher, currently serving as a Commercial Real Estate Advisor & Broker at Feldman Ruel Urban Property Advisors since January 2023, brings over a decade of expertise to the Washington DC-Baltimore Area. Prior to rejoining Feldman Ruel, LaMarr held the position of Director of Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop from May 2021 to January 2023, where he played a pivotal role in the origination and financing of multifamily commercial real estate across the Mid-Atlantic region. His responsibilities included cultivating relationships with owners, investors, and the brokerage community, conducting quantitative financial modeling, market analysis, and overseeing the negotiation of legal documentation.
Before his tenure at Walker & Dunlop, LaMarr served as a Senior Investment Associate in Investment Sales at Feldman Ruel Urban Property Advisors from February 2020 to May 2021. In this role, he partnered with commercial real estate owners, providing valuable advice on market opportunities and assisting them in portfolio growth through acquisitions, dispositions, or refinancing. LaMarr excelled in building client relationships, prospecting daily, and utilizing financial models for property underwriting.
Prior to his time at Feldman Ruel, LaMarr held the position of Investment Associate at Marcus & Millichap from July 2017 to February 2020, where he earned recognition as the "Rookie of the Year" in 2018 and received the company-wide "Pace Setter" award for exceptional performance in 2017. His achievements included surpassing sales metrics and meeting outstanding performance standards within the first 16 weeks of launching his business.
Before transitioning to the real estate sector, LaMarr served as the Director of Business Development at U.S. Legal Support, Inc. from December 2014 to June 2017. With a diverse background spanning both real estate and business development, LaMarr Datcher stands out as a seasoned professional with a proven track record of success in various facets of his career.
