Industrial specialist, Kyle Roberts, is a market leader in the Logistics, Supply Chain Optimization and network analysis, Development consultation, and the Capital Markets segments of Commercial Real Estate. His 27 years of experience in brokerage and organizational management provide perspective to his clients not often found in the brokerage community.
Kyle has 27 years of active experience as a co-founding principal of Newmark Grubb ACRES in 1998, and oversaw his firm’s brand realignment from NAI to Newmark in March 2013. He led his Firm's acquisition by Newmark in June, 2019. Having the perspective of a business owner and entrepreneur, along with his transaction acumen give him unique insight into his client’s problems and needs from shared experience. In the Real Estate community, Kyle has held, many Leadership positions including SIOR Chapter Vice President and President, and since 2013 he has held a held a seat on Newmark’s National Industrial Advisory Board. He is also a member of the Counsel of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
Kyle works the Industrial capital stack from end-to-end, and represents occupiers, developers and investors. His clients have learned to depend on him to analyze, plan, and execute the most complex of transactions. He specializes in deep market analytics, trend forecasting, and helping clients navigate real estate challenges, transforming them into balance sheet and P&L solutions. His depth of understanding of tax and corporate finance are tools he deploys to advise and execute for clients to achieve the best possible end-state outcome. He has been involved in more than 4,600 individual transactions, representing clients in the acquisition or disposition of over 94 million square feet in Utah and 23.5 million square feet nationally/internationally. 53 million square feet of his transactions have exceeded 75,000 square feet in size. He has also sold, planned, and facilitated subdivision of over 4,200 acres of land into some of the State of Utah’s most Iconic business parks. His total building transaction portfolio represents 120.5 million square feet. Kyle’s transactions have a cumulative value exceeding $6.42 billion, including many of the market’s largest Industrial capital markets transactions and most complex build-to-suits.
Kyle has a deep routed sense of community and Country stemming from service as an Active Duty USMC Infantryman (0311 MOS). He remains active in the military community, assisting veterans in career mentorship, and assimilation from Active Duty to civilian life.
