Kurt Nelson oversees the firm's expanding presence across Memphis, Nashville, and Cincinnati. Based in Memphis, Kurt opened the Hillwood office to serve the East-Central region of the U.S. in the Fall of 2014.
Kurt brings over two decades of experience in industrial real estate development. Kurt was previously with I.D.I. Gazeley, where he served as Senior Vice President and Regional Director, leading the company's Memphis office for the majority of his 19-year tenure. Before joining I.D.I. Gazeley, in 1995, Kurt was at C.B. Commercial and NationsBank.
Kurt's team has acquired land and buildings in multiple markets across Tennessee, Mississippi, Kentucky, and Ohio. The team handles development projects from entitlement through construction completion and lease-up.
