Kurt has called Eugene home for more than 50 years. A graduate from South Eugene High School, and the University of Oregon with a master’s degree in Geology. After pursuing careers in mineral exploration, archaeology, and environmental consulting throughout the western United States, he returned to Eugene to pursue a lifestyle that was less hectic and driven, and to be closer to family and friends. He has a passion for organic gardening, rock hunting, collectible beads, ancient coins, mushrooms and truffles, cooking, wine tasting, and enjoying these interests with his friends and Clients. He loves to get my hands dirty, whether in the garden, digging clams, or hunting mushrooms and there is nothing more satisfying than returning home with a bounty and sharing that with friends.
He strongly believes in giving back to their communities, and he is dedicated to a number of worthy community organizations. He is currently on the Board for Looking Glass Community Services and the Oregon Contemporary Theater.
