Bio
Kristin believes that everything she does should be an investment in her clients’ best interest and for the good of the community. She takes her responsibility to represent her clients seriously and her professional conduct with clients, vendors, and fellow professionals is proof of this. She works with sellers and buyers on primary residential properties, commercial investments, and land development projects. She strives to become and remain informed on all issues affecting real estate and believe in continuously focusing on learning, innovation, a higher level of professionalism, and simplifying business practices.
From luxury waterfront properties to your rural southern porch steps, she knows the Southeastern North Carolina area and market conditions. She is invested in the future of the rapidly growing area and stays up to date with upcoming area projects, potential future commercial and residential projects, DOT projects, and upcoming changes regarding zoning, land use, and flood zones. She created and maintains detailed area maps reflecting current development, planned future development projects, local zoning regulations, and upcoming land use changes in order to facilitate and assist residential and commercial buyers more informed real estate purchases with regard to location.
A little about her… Kelly started up BlueStar Real Estate, a small, locally owned and operated Residential and Commercial Real Estate Firm in 2018. The company name, BlueStar Real Estate came about because her family served as a BlueStar family (family of a service member deployed during times of war). Although she originally moved to Wilmington, NC from Southeastern NJ in 1996, she has lived and worked all over the globe in response to military relocations and planted roots back "home" here in Southeastern NC in 2014. Although professional and direct, she has a naturally welcoming nature and her genuine care for people and the community is transparent. She serves on the NHC Zoning Board of Adjustments, and volunteer as a Guardian ad Litem (advocating for abused and neglected children in the community). She is old school and believes they should look out for one another, go the extra mile, and give back to our community and our service members.
