Kristin is a down-to-earth country girl who has been where her clients are now: a homeowner leading the home buying/selling process. Luckily, homes in Durant are being snapped up quickly because the city is a haven for families, thanks to its excellent school district and homegrown community atmosphere. However, the process of selling a home without any support or specialist guidance can still be a daunting task. Kristen knew that doing a For Sale by Owner would give her a clear look into what her clients go through?, so she decided to grow her expertise through personal experience. She put what she learned into active practice when she got her real estate license. Kristen mastered every process step, from the inspections and appraisals to negotiations, staging, and market research. But she’s convinced that this is not what makes her such an effective real estate specialist and integral part of the eXp Realty team. Instead, her empathy for her client’s experiences when they intend to buy and sell a home in Durant makes Kristen an asset to homeowners and clients.
After spending 14 years (and counting!) in the city of Durant, Kristen can’t imagine living elsewhere. She likes to think of Durant as the city version of Goldilocks: It’s not too big or small. Here, relationships matter the most. If you’ve never lived in Durant, expect to spend a few leisurely minutes running into and chatting with your hairdresser while you’re finishing off errands. This is a town where “everybody knows your name, ” and that promise contributes to why families come to Durant and build roots. Today, Kristen can be found marathoning the MCU and Star Wars movies with her kids or playing with her two dogs, an Australian Shepherd/ Pyrenees mix and a Schnoodle. Though she misses the days when she could homeschool her kids, she was happy to have them transition to Durant’s school system.
