Kirby oversees all the day to operations of Upcountry Real Estate as the Broker-in Charge. A native of Greenville and graduate of Clemson University, Kirby began his real estate career by joining the family business Bridwell Company in 1995. He quickly transitioned into a development management role working on several upscale projects in the Upstate including Woodlands, Lanford’s Pointe, Hammond Pointe, and Pennington Pointe. As the development manager Kirby was involved in all aspects of project development including: Negotiation and acquisition of land purchase, Evaluation of project feasibility, Conceptual planning, Engaging and management of development team including architects and engineers, and Management of sales and marketing campaign.
Kirby was excited to found Upcountry Real Estate in late 2008 with Chris Hill and Jami Mullikin and use his “field training” to help his clients evaluate their real estate needs. Kirby lives in Taylors within a stones throw of where he grew up with his wife Emily and their two boys Bryce and Evan.
