In 1976 when applying for a secretarial position for a real estate firm, Kim instead chose the career path of Realtor and rose to the company’s top agent after her first three months. Finding her passion of helping people achieve their home ownership dreams, but knowing the time commitment in growing a business, she developed one of the first real estate “teams” in the Greater Lansing area in the early 90’s. Today that team is five agents strong, allowing Kim to delve into other areas of the business she enjoys such as serving on the board of the Greater Lansing Association of Realtors, being the real estate expert on the radio broadcast Michigan Business Rap with Michael Patrick Shiels, serving on the public policy committee of the Michigan Association of Realtors and most importantly, being “Mimi” to her five adorable grandchildren. Married to Mark for 34 years her hobbies include travel with trips to Italy and the Caribbean, reading, scuba diving and of course all things real estate!
