Ken serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of The Tar Heel Companies of North Carolina, of Raleigh, a Real Estate Development and Property Management firm he and his Father founded in 1976, He is Member Manager of Tar Heel Express Maintenance and Supply, LLC of Raleigh and Secretary/Treasurer of Carolina Janitorial and Maintenance Supply, of Raleigh. Ken has been licensed in North Carolina as a Real Estate Broker since 1982 and has extensive experience in developing owning and managing investment Real Estate. Ken is also licensed as a Property and Liability Insurance Agent, is a member of The Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors, The Raleigh Regional Board of Realtors, The National Association of Realtors, The Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and Cary Chamber of Commerce. Ken was a founding Director of Crescent Financial Corporation in 1998 and served as Chairman of its Director’s Loan Committee until 2011. Ken has also served on the Boards of various Homeowner Associations in North and South Carolina.
