Mr. Goldberg spent 14 years with the Carey Winston Company as a retail leasing and sales agent as well as head of the Retail Real Estate Department of the company. During this time, he concluded sale and lease transactions totaling well over $750,000,000 which included representing Home Depot in its entrance into the Washington DC market. He concluded 15 locations for this major home improvement retailer. He has also represented and concluded transactions for BJ’s Wholesale Club, Costco, Giant Food, Office Depot and a myriad of other major national tenants in this marketplace.
His leasing experience also involved representing Sizzler Restaurant, Pizza Hut and TGI Friday’s in this market as well as a great number of pad and in-line restaurant tenants. He has negotiated and acted on the sale side of the business selling over $500,000,000 worth of shopping center and individual properties. To round out his career, Mr. Goldberg has spent the last 4 years acting as a developer, developing over 1,250,000 square feet of ground-up retail space in the Baltimore/Washington area. Throughout his many years of experience, he has developed relationships with tenants and developers throughout the United States.
Today, Ken is operating as a broker at Uniwest, doing sales, tenant and landlord representation, and consultation for development and leasing opportunities.
